Stilianna Luxury Village was built in the time period of 2011-2016, but the history of the complex begins in 1938, when these lands passed to the Kiosses family. Georgios Kiosses embodied the dream of his father, grandfather and great-grandfather of creating something unique and special on this territory so that it would be possible to share the beauty of this place with the whole world.
Approaching this challenge with extraordinary trepidation, Georgios managed to preserve the original appearance of the landscape and the centuries-old olive trees which age is about 400 years. You can see the majestic olive trees in front of the villas. These trees were planted, most likely, by the monks of the Stavronikita monastery, who had owned these lands, since the 14th century, and used them as agricultural fields.
New owners made a huge effort not to damage and to transplant trees so that the guests of the villas could enjoy them.
Having completed the construction and wishing to pay tribute to his father, Georgios Kiosses gave the complex the name of his daughter, who in her turn was named after her grandfather - Stilianna.
